Employee Compensation and Benefits
1.If the company generates profit in a given fiscal year, no less than 2% shall be allocated for employee compensation and no more than 3% for director remuneration. However, if the company has accumulated losses, such losses shall be offset first. Employee compensation is determined based on a fair and consistent approach, without discrimination on the basis of gender, race, religion, political affiliation, or marital status. Cheng Shin takes into account labor market supply and demand, regional salary benchmarks, job responsibilities, educational background, work experience, years of service, and professional capabilities when establishing a reasonable compensation policy. Annual performance results are also considered, and individual compensation is granted based on personal performance achievement and contribution to overall company performance.
2.Cheng Shin determines employee compensation primarily based on job performance and individual achievement rates, which also serve as the basis for salary adjustments and promotions. Performance bonuses are not influenced by gender. In 2024, the salary ratio between female and male managers was 1.06, while the ratio between female and male non-managerial employees was 0.92.
(Note: Salary ratio is calculated as the average salary of females in the category divided by the average salary of males in the same category.)
